Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.02 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed12:00 AM - 07:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location serving individuals in need of housing support. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions, observations, and/or policy concerns to site leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, common areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and/or assist with directing staff, residents, vendors, and visitors. Document daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences, and communicate relevant information during shift changes and to Allied Universal management as needed.Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client. A guard card or license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
